No setting could have more perfect than that of Bondi in Sydney to feature a swimsuit exhibition. 100 years in the history of swimwear, from 1890 to 1990, was showcased in an exhibition of twenty bathing suits from the collection. Splendid black and white archival photographs of women parading on Bondi Beach balanced the history of swimwear (and social history) perfectly. The exhibition was a huge success with crowds coming into the centre to reminisce about what they wear and wore to the beach.
