This event took place last year, but I only just found the photographs taken on the first evening. Because I was standing amongst some of the great writers of Australia I just had to add this to my website. It was the first time the festival had been held and the line-up of authors was quite extraordinary. I was invited to be a part of this event as the author of Dreaming of Dior. I did a talk which included a number of dresses from the collection but had the most fascintating time meeting the other authors and attending the many elegant lunches and dinners throughout the weekend. Olivia, my daughter, came too and came home with the beginnings of a great library. She bought one book from each of the authors and had them sign it for her. What a great weekend and good luck to the festival organisers for their second event in August 2011.
